The concrete elements, grouped by the domain they serve.

Plugins are where the framework meets real hardware and real formats. They are decentralized from the core: a plugin adds its own directory, its own Kconfig and its own headers, and the build picks it up without an edit to anything the core owns. A vendor or a middleware provider can therefore ship elements without altering the framework, and an application pays only for the domains it enables.
