Detailed Description

Tee Element Structure.

The tee element receives buffers on its single sink pad and broadcasts them to all of its source pads.

The branches share the buffers upstream allocates. The tee never forwards a downstream pool to upstream, since several branches cannot share one: only the merged pool configuration of the branches travels up, and a branch that cannot use those buffers copies into its own pool.
